Best Canadian 80s Songs You Probably Never Heard of

I was a DJ in the 80s (see 80s hair -> right), mostly during college. College dances, a thousand people, trying to get them to dance. (I also started a band in the same period). The Canadian charts during the 80s were different than the US charts. Here are some of my favorites:

Best Canadian 80s Songs You Probably Never Heard of

My #1 favorite 80s Song from Canada. A Canadian band named after a small Canadian town. Not only is this a chart topper, but I dare you. Listen to it 10 times in a row and see if it doesn't foreverafter rule your POD!

Chilliwack - Wanna Be a Star - My Girl Chilliwack - My Girl

Harlequin - Innocence (1980) - Chart Topper Extraordinaire. Big radio hit.

Idle Eyes - Two Rivers - a better ballad you have never heard. Great lyrics.

Nice choice of tunes from the 80's... very nice indeed. Also, checked out your band page. That's some nice work, and the guitar is very ... Alex Lifesonish on The Jacob Incident. Great job!

Thanks - that Lifeson-eque guitar work was done by Eldon Winter. I am playing on that song, but it's the rhythm guitar, not the lead.
